An overview of all nuclear tests in the world from 1945 to 1998

The japanese artist "Isao Hashimoto" has made a summary which visualizes all 2053 nuclear explosions from 1945 to 1998. With respect to the negative potential that atomic energy carries it turns out to be very disturbing.



Nevertheless, we also wonder: what has happened with all the radiation? Did it just evaporize into the athmossphere? Considering all of these tests, earth has at least suffered one atomic war. I guess that especially in the United States and Russia exist many no-go-areas now. The question is: if there ever was a threat for the population.
